Summary

When I was a kid and picking out a new movie for my family to watch, I made sure it had a behind-the-scenes feature. My favorite ones were when they had the concept artists talk about their process of designing the characters. I was fascinated by the many iterations each design went through, as well the collaborative work amongst the team.

Being part of a first generation immigrant family helped me cultivate my unique perspective and experiences into important elements that shaped me. My passion for art started with my father passing down his love for drawing. My mother taught me resilience, through her battle with breast cancer. And combined they showed me perseverance and with hard work, anything is possible.

The art field as a whole has always been a highly competitive field. With rejection being daunting and unmotivating it resulted in me working in other fields like retail. But through these experiences, I have gained vital skills that helped me grow; not only as an individual, but as an artist.

I am always looking to create growth and opportunity. From attending brainstorm classes to taking courses from the teaching wizard, Ahmed Aldoori. I pride myself in being able to listen to feedback and execute what takes me to a higher level.

When I'm not sipping on a nice cup of wine or watching soccer, my sketchbook and iPad are always at hands reach.

Come find me when you need a new member to your guild!
